Guy was indicted by the Morgan County Grand Jury in May 2011 on charges that he had downloaded child pornography from the internet.
Defense attorney Kent Booher maintained that there was no proof that Guy was responsible for downloading or possessing the pornography.
Guy was charged after the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a hit on his internet address. Booher says the content allegedly downloaded was never found on any computers in Guy’s possession.
The jury made up of six men and six women deliberated for less than an hour before returning the verdict of not guilty.
