Antique Car Show In Rugby – Saturday, July 13th, 2013

Antique Cars 2On Saturday July 13, the usual serene quiet of Rugby, TN will be broken by the rumble of automobiles as our annual Antique Car Show rolls into town.

Rugby will be transformed as a variety of antique cars and street rods line the streets. Enjoy the old time feel of historic early Fords beside muscle cars and classics of the 50’s. Antique Cars

There will be plenty for the non-car enthusiast as well. All of the Rugby Shops — the Rugby Commissary, Spirit of Red Hill, Painted Rooster, Carriage House Gallery and The Gathering Place — will have a variety of antiques and arts available for purchase. Local artisans, including painter Mara Trumbo, will have other wares available throughout the village. The Big South Fork National Recreation Area will be joining us to educate visitors on park events and activities.

Antique Car ShowShow hours are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. EDT (8-2 Central). Visitor admission is free. A 50/50 raffle will be held by the Rugby Antique Car Club to benefit Historic Rugby, and door prizes will be awarded for showing cars. Pre-registration is currently open for any interested car owners and will begin on the day of the show at 8:30 a.m. EDT. Registration cost is $10 per car.
