A graduate of the Professional Academy of Broadcasting in Knoxville, Ed began as an on air DJ and Sports Broadcaster in 1974 before moving into full time Sales in 1976.
Ed became Sales Manager in 1980 and has been General Manager in charge of day to day operations since 2011. He is also part of WECO’s ownership group.
Ed and his wife of 40 years, Susan, live in Wartburg. They have two grown sons Brad and Andrew. Brad is the 2015 FLW Forrest Wood Cup Champion. He and his wife Becky and daughter Tinsley live in Wartburg. Son Andrew and wife Kristen live in Oliver Springs.
Ed enjoys the challenge of managing two radio stations, golf, officiating High School Basketball, and umpiring college and High School Baseball.
